Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, is famous for his unique style of rapping. Baker was born 22 April 1990, in Houston Texas U.S. into a family with English Scottish and German descent. His parents were missionaries. During his childhood Baker traveled a lot with them. James Colson Baker battled depression and unemployment, and his Mother Sonia Alane dumped him at the age of nine. Following that Baker and his father relocated to Denver in the area where they stayed with his aunt, who was his father's. Other kids in the area were bullies Baker due to his indigence. In sixth grade, Baker began to listen to hip-hop. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989 in Texas. The music he composes is a blend of contemporary hip-hop, alternative and rock. Baker has released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010, before signing to Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper who penned lyrics with the velocity of a speeding bullet experienced an explosion of popularity when 2011 was the year he made the switch from self-released tracks to well-known label. Then his career exploded with each of his albums ranking in the top ten.
