Mary Padian is an American businesswoman, who runs an online shop called Mary's Finds and also for being on the reality show Storage Wars Texas. Mary Padian, also called the Junkyard Queen or The Junkster is well-known for her extensive antique collection sourced from various auctions storage units and estate sales. Mary obtained a degree from photojournalism and began working for Architectural Digest's founding editor Paige Rense. Later, she created her own Mary Finds section. It featured video clips on home refurbishing and decoration; she later returned to Texas and opened her company under the same name and concentrate in restoring and furnishing antiques. A&E Television producers spotted her as she was running her antiques business and offered her a role involved in Texas' version of Storage Wars. The show ran for three seasons. As a result of her popularity she was cast as the first character of Storage Wars in its fifth season. Storage Wars was a part of her daily life through the next seasons and she has been on and off the show up until the 12th season.
