Chando is a current resident of New York City. Chando was a student at Manhattan College when she became an actor. Chando played Maddie Coleman, the lead character in As the World turns from 2005 through 2007. She then reprised her role for a brief length of time starting in 2009. Alexandra first made her debut as an actor in 2002, when she portrayed Jenna Harper on the TV series House Blend. As the World Turns on CBS was her first TV part after three years. Then in 2009 Chando was cast in the American documentary television series True life and further appeared in the television series Sherri. She appeared in two episodes Glory Daze (an American comedy-drama series) as Annabelle. Other TV credits include Castle, Hindsight Dead People and Outcast.
