Molly was raised in Pennsylvania. Her first professional life at the age of 13, at the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Then she was nominated as a Barrymore Award nominee for her role of Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production Into the Woods. After her Broadway debut at just 15 she reprised the part and was awarded an award from the Drama League Award. Molly has also appeared in The Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. Molly then went to Princeton University where she was an active member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with the degree of a B.A. in Religious Studies. She also appeared in the Disney film College Road Trip, playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly has been in Off-Broadway shows, including End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. She also participated in TV shows such as Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has performed in many regional plays, among them The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee produced by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 and North Shore Music Theatre's The Diary of Anne Frank in 2010. The Diary of Anne Frank at the Westport Country Playhouse in which Molly played Anne. Molly is most well-known for her role in the 2010 movie Paranormal Activity 2 in which she portrays a teenaged daughter Ali as well as the ABC comedy written by Jack Burditt and starring Tim Allen entitled Last Man Standing
